A quiet exploration of the world, seen a little differently.
Fine art photography and cyanotype prints inspired by nature, detail, and adventure.
Kory’s Photography is a fine art practice rooted in curiosity and observation.
Each piece begins with a simple impulse: to notice what is often overlooked. A shift in light. A small detail in nature. An abstract form that invites pause. The work moves between landscape, macro, and alternative photographic processes, offering images that feel calm, intriguing, and open to interpretation.
This is not about documenting places as they are expected to be seen. It is about offering a different perspective—one that invites viewers to slow down, look closer, and bring a sense of quiet presence into their spaces.
The Work
The collection includes:
- Original cyanotype prints, created using light, chemistry, and time
- Fine art photographic prints, available in a range of materials and formats
Some pieces lean toward detail and precision. Others are abstract or atmospheric. Together, they are designed to live with you—adding depth, warmth, and a sense of discovery to the spaces you inhabit.
Rather than following trends, the work remains grounded in process, material, and intention.
Cyanotype: A Process Guided by Light
Cyanotype is an alternative photographic process that blends science and art.
Each print is created by hand, coating fine paper with a light-sensitive solution and exposing it under the sun. Photographic negatives or natural objects—such as leaves, flowers, or organic textures—are placed on the paper, allowing light and shadow to shape the final image.
The process is inherently unpredictable. Variations in light, timing, and application mean no two prints are ever exactly the same. The result is an original piece shaped by experimentation, patience, and the natural environment in which it is made.
A Thoughtful Addition to Your Space
Art has the ability to shift the energy of a room.
These pieces are created for homeowners, renters, and small business owners who want more than generic wall décor—who are drawn to work that feels personal, intentional, and quietly expressive. Whether placed in a living space, office, or studio, the work is meant to invite curiosity and offer moments of calm throughout the day.
About the Artist
Kory is a fine art photographer with a lifelong connection to the camera and the natural world.
Her work is shaped by decades of experience, formal study in fine art photography, and an ongoing practice of exploration—both in nature and in everyday life. Education refined her technical skills and introduced alternative processes such as cyanotype, but curiosity has always been the driving force behind the work.
She approaches photography as an evolving practice rather than a fixed style, allowing each piece to emerge naturally through observation, experimentation, and intention.
